The first Pentecost, also known as the Descent of the Holy Spirit took place in the Cenacle, where the Last Supper was held. This occurred 50 days after Jesus rose from the dead. The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Apostles were gathered in the Upper Room, which was another name for the Cenacle.
The original picture was from the Book of Hours produced in France between 1503-1508 A.D. The original picture has been slightly edited.
