Fr. Patrick Peyton was born in the townland of Carracastle, Ireland on January 9, 1909. He spread the devotion of the Rosary and founded the Rosary Crusade movement. His slogan was "The family that prays together stays together." He died on June 3, 1992, and is buried at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
